An alternate look at a slightly different style I was playing with for the splash screen for my Colossal Cave remake.
Eventually I felt that I didn't like the blurred foreground/background. Simulating depth of field on flat shaded vector stuff with uniform blurs often feels a bit tacky. This cropped version with a greater emphasis on the bird doesn't suffer from that as much though, I think.
